The term Assistive Technology (AT) refers to an array of devices and services used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of a student with a disability.
Assistive Technology at CGRESD consists of professional staff certified in either occupational therapy or speech-language pathology who are trained in the process of AT consideration in the school setting. In addition, trained assistants are available to assist staff in the creation and organization of AT supports.
Clare-Gladwin RESD staff participate in collaborative groups and provide workshops in order to build capacity for professional development and support of best practices for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
