At CGRESD, we support a community of practice where staff are engaged in practices that deliver outcomes that matter for students. Dr. Stephanie Grant showcased key strategies to help all students feel safe and experience success in the classroom. As the Area School gets ready to begin on August 22, CGRESD staff is ready to help families jump in to learning!

Summer SPARKS and Ignite programs are our favorite part of the year. Collaborations with local districts ensure quality academic instruction for elementary and middle school sites and maximize high school credit recovery to promote graduation. Weekly fieldtrips, engaging enrichment projects, community collaborations, and multi-district events are packed into six short weeks that keep students and staff active and excited about learning.
“This summer, we partnered with more local districts than ever before, and it showed. Working together, we were able to maximize our impact on learning and maximize the fun!” ~Rebecca I., SPARKS Project Director

CGRESD is recognized for the educational supports it provides to the Clare-Gladwin communities. Together, with other area volunteers, CGRESD employees work to keep our roadways clean through Adopt-a-highway. These relationships are key to CGRESD’s commitment to our community.

Enjoy a fish fry for a good cause as the Knights of Columbus in Gladwin raises funds for the Imagination Library. This local program provides a free book every month to children until their fifth birthday in both Clare and Gladwin counties. Imagination Library is funded exclusively by grants and private donations. Please come out to support a great local cause TOMORROW, Friday, August 12, from 4PM-7PM.
