The Cat in the Hat stopped by the Gladwin County Baby Pantry and read the book "Sam I Am" to the kids while they enjoyed some goldfish crackers! Three of our amazing literacy coaches from our regions participated in a coaching intensive at Winn Elementary in March. They completed learning on best practices in coaching, as well as practicing teaching and learning based on research-based literacy practices. As the MI-YDA Credential continues to grow, it is now being recognized for district and prior learning credit at several colleges and universities. The summit brought together partners and institutions to expand this work and strengthen future opportunities for students.
