The 1st Transition Council meeting of the year included a tour of the CTE updates for both our district and community agency partners. Of the roughly 400 students in CTE, approximately 90 receive support through either an IEP, 504 plan, or medical plan. #CGRESD #ourstory #CTEitsWorking

REMC 5 will be hosting Educational Technology sessions in a few weeks. Sessions will be held in two locations and are free to all REMC 5 districts. Participants may attend at either site, regardless of their ISD.

The sessions are designed with teachers in mind, though instructional coaches, administrators, and media center staff will also find them valuable.

Attendees will also have the chance to explore new items in the REMC 5 Lending Library. In addition, REMC 5 will be giving away some of the “retired” items from the library that have served faithfully over the years.

Please consider sharing this opportunity with your buildings.

REMC 5 Director Joe Trommater worked with teachers at Beaverton High School to explore staff and student uses of AI in schools. They explored different tools and pitched them to each other before examining ways they can help students maintain integrity and honesty in a world where shortcuts are easy. #CGRESD #ourstory
